MOONG DAL HALWA RECIPE | MOONG DAL SHEERA RECIPE | INDIAN DESERT RECIPE | INDIAN SWEET RECIPE

INGREDIENTS :
1) Moong Dal - 1/2 cup
2) Sugar - 1/2 cup
3) Milk - 1-1/2 cup
4) Cardamom -5 to 6 ( powder )
5) Cashew nut -15 chopped
6) Almond - 15 chopped
7) Pasta - 10 chopped
8) Ghee - 1/2 cup

METHOD :

Take Moong dal in mixer jar and grind it to form little thick flour ( like Semolina - Rava ).
Take a pan on gas with high flame and add ghee.
When ghee is hot then add our grinded flour. Bring down gas to low flame and stir it properly. Keep stirring for around 15 min so that it form dark colour.
Add milk into it. Bring up gas to high flame. Stir it again till it absorb all milk and Halwa become thick. Bring down gas to low flame.
Now add sugar and mix them properly so that it mixes completely. \
When ghee starts separating from halwa then add cashew nut, almond and pista - chopped. ( Keep some quantity of each for garnishing later ). Mix halwa properly. Turn of gas.
Take halwa in serving plate.
Garnish it with our dry fruits.
Moong Dal Halwa is ready for mouth watering taste...!!
