STUFF IDLI RECIPE | HOW TO MAKE STUFF IDLI AT HOME | EASY RECIPE OF STUFF IDLI

INGREDIENTS :
1) Potato - Boiled - 5
2) Boiled peas - 1/4 cup
3) Idli batter - 3/4 cup
4) green chilly - 1
5) ginger - 1 small piece
6) Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
7) Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
8) Coriander powder - 1 tsp
9) Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
10) Mustard seed ( Rai ) - 1/2 tsp
11) Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup ( chopped )
12) Chat masala powder - 1/2 tsp
13) Curry leaves - 8-10 ( Chopped )
14) Oil
15) Salt - To taste

METHOD

Preparing Stuffing
Take boiled potatoes in a bowl and grate them with grater or smasher.
Add peas, green chilly & ginger paste, red chilly powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala, chopped coriander, chat masala and salt.,
Mix them properly.
Stuffing is ready.
Make small round lemon size balls from stuffing and press little to give shape of tikki .

Preparing Stuff Idli
Put steamer on gas with high flame. Add 2 glass of water.
Lubricate Idli stand with oil.
Take Idli batter and add salt. Mix them well. Dont mix it for long time,
Take Idli batter with spoon and pour into mould of Idli stand at less than half level.
Fill all moulds with batter.
Add suffing Tikki over bottom layer of batter.
Now pour again batter with spoon over stuffing to cover it to full level.
Put Idli stand into steamer.
Close steamer cover and let it to cook for 12 min.,
Check after 12 min by inserting knife into any Idli. If Knife coming out without any batter sticking to it then our Stuff Idli is ready.
Turn off gas and take out Idli in a serving plate.

Now put tadka pan on gas with high flame and add 1 tbsp oil.
When oil is hot add Curry leaves & Rai
When Rai starts crackling , turn off gas and pour tadka over stuff Idli.
Cut round Idli from center into two parts.
Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve it with Tomato catch up or Coconut Chutney.

Delicious Stuff Idli is ready for mouth watering taste.
