SUJI POTATO ROLL RECIPE | HOW TO MAKE SUJI POTATO ROLL


INGREDIENTS :
1) Potato - 4 boiled
2) Rice flour - 1/4 cup
3) Suji -1/4 cup
4) Bread slice - 2 (Crumbs )
5) Curd - 1/4 cup
6) Carrot - 2 tbsp grated
7) Capsicum - 2 tbsp  grated
8) Corn - 2 tbsp boiled
9) Peas - 2 tbsp boiled
10) Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup chopped
11) Oil
12) Green Chilly - 1
13) Ginger - small piece
14) Salt - As per taste
15) Pinch of Hing
16) Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
17) Chat Masala - 1/4 tsp
18) Garam masala - 1/4 tsp
19) Rai - Mustard seed - 1/2 tsp
20) Red chilly powder 1/2 tsp
21) Corinader powder - 1/2 tsp
22) Oninon - 2 tbsp chopped
23) Tomato catch up - 2 tbsp + Schezwan sauce - 1 tsp


METHOD

Preparing Batter
Take a bowl and add Rice flour, Suji, Salt, Curd & Bread crumbs.
Mix them well.
Add water and make batter with flowing consistency.
Put it for 10 min.

Preparing Stuffing
Put a pan on gas with high flame and add 2 tbsp oil.
When oil is hot add Rai and pinch of hing. Add ginger-chilly paste and turmeric powder. When Rain starts crakling, add onion. Mix them well. When onion becomes light brown then add capsicum, carrot. Fry it till it becomes cruncy.
Then add corn & peas. Also add smashed potatoes. Mix them well.
Add Red chilly powder, coriander leaves, chat masala, garam masala, salt.
Mix them well.
Turn off gas. Our stuffing is ready.

Preparing Suji Potato Roll
Put a pan on gas with high flame. When it becomes hot then bring down gas to low flame.
Take batter with spoon and pour it on pan. Spread it with spoon and form round shape of 5 to 6 inch.
Spread little oil at corners of batter. Fry it for 2-3 min.
When colour of roll starts changing from top, then turn it to other side. Add oil at edges of roll and fry again for 2-3 min. When it form golden brown colours at both side then roll is ready.
Take it in a plate.
Make all other rolls from rest of batter. You can make around 6 rolls from this mixutre.
Take one roll in a plate and apply mixture of tomato catch up and schezwan sauce.
Take 1.5 to 2  tbsp of stuffing and put at neat to edge and spread in lenght. Make tight roll by folding it properly..Do same for all.
Cut rolls from center - give little angle cut.
